The Primary Weapons Systems DI-14 Modern Musket is a direct-impingement AR-15 built on forged 7075-T6 MK1 receivers with the distinctive Modern Musket magwell rollmark and Boise, ID markings. Chambered in .223 Wylde, it features a PWS FSC556 muzzle device pinned and welded on a 14.5-inch barrel for legal length, plus a free-float KeyMod handguard and a clean, factory-spec setup enhanced with quality, installed accessories.

This Modern Musket DI-14 uses a 14.5-inch chromoly steel barrel with button rifling and a QPQ nitride finish, paired with a carbine-length gas system. Its PWS FSC556 muzzle device (U.S. Patent No. 8,042,448) is pinned and welded, creating a legal overall barrel assembly length of approximately 16.5 inches. Twist rate is 1:8 RH.
The rifle is built on forged 7075-T6 aluminum MK1 receivers and marked with the Modern Musket magwell rollmark and PWS Boise, ID origin. Standard features include a forward assist, shell deflector, and dust cover. The upper is marked .223 Wylde.
A PWS Modern Musket free-float KeyMod aluminum handguard with a continuous 1913 top rail provides mounting space along the full length. The rifle includes an adjustable, telescoping stock, a Magpul MOE K2 (vertical) pistol grip, and a flat-faced trigger. A Magpul B.A.D. Lever is installed on the bolt catch.
