Built on LWRC's direct-impingement IC-DI architecture, this rifle features the series' key engineering elements, including a silver/Ni-finished, direct-impingement bolt carrier group with a standard gas key secured by two screws. It is marked "IC-DI 5.56mm – MADE IN THE U.S.A." on the upper, "LWRC M6IC" on the magwell, and "CAMBRIDGE, MD U.S.A." on the receiver. Forward assist and ejection-port dust cover are present, and M4 feed ramps are visible. Stated capacity is 30+1.
The 16-inch cold hammer forged, NiCorr-treated barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake/compensator. The LWRC free-float aluminum handguard has a full-length 12-o'clock Picatinny rail and large oval lightening ports, providing a rigid, ventilated mounting platform.
Upgrades focus on control and feel: a LaRue MBT trigger, Stark pistol grip, and STR stock deliver a crisp trigger press and solid ergonomics. The Radian 45/90 ambidextrous safety selector provides positive, configurable manipulation from either side.
