The A7 Roughtech Pro configuration delivers a stainless, matte-finished receiver and a 24.4 in stainless barrel with fluting, a medium contour, and a recessed crown. The barrel is free-floating and cold hammer-forged, and the rifle is built without open sights.
The action uses Sako's three-lug bolt with plunger ejection for short bolt lift and positive extraction. It is a short-action receiver identified by the "S" marking. Controls include a two-position safety and a bolt-release lever. The trigger is a single-stage, adjustable unit.
The composite stock is reinforced with full-length aluminum bedding and finished in black with gray web. Ergonomics include a right-hand palm swell, straight comb, rubber recoil pad, and front and rear sling swivel studs. Length of pull is spacer-adjustable to fine-tune fit.
Feeding is via a detachable single-row polymer magazine with steel feed lips and a 3+1 capacity. The Total Control magazine latch system is designed to prevent accidental release. Two-piece Weaver-style scope bases are installed for mounting optics of your choice.
