This Belgian-made Browning SA-22 Grade I is a 1970 FN production example with factory scroll engraving and classic blued steel over gloss checkered walnut. The 19.25-inch barrel and Grade I receiver pattern, combined with Belgian proofmarks and the Browning St. Louis & Montreal barrel address, make this a distinctive and well-documented rimfire.

Belgian FN manufacture and Grade I trim define this SA-22. The receiver shows the factory Grade I scroll with a zig-zag border, and the barrel carries the Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo. & Montreal P.Q. address along with Belgian proofmarks and "Made in Belgium" markings.
The "70T" serial code format confirms 1970 production and .22 Long Rifle chambering.
The rifle operates on a simple blowback, semi-automatic action with bottom ejection, a hallmark of the SA-22 design that keeps empties away from the shooter. A 10-round tubular magazine is housed in the buttstock, maintaining the rifle’s slim lines and easy balance.
Its takedown system uses a knurled adjustment ring at the barrel, allowing quick separation for transport or storage.
