The O.Z-9C Combat centers on ZEV's modular steel receiver/chassis, which is the serialized core of the pistol. This design integrates with a gray polymer grip frame featuring aggressive textured panels and an accessory rail.
The compact 4.0-inch non-threaded barrel is matched to a black, windowless Citadel-pattern slide. The slide includes front and rear serrations and an external extractor for a clean, duty-focused profile.
An RMR-footprint optics interface is machined into the slide and is fitted with a cover plate. Factory sights consist of a fiber-optic front with an orange rod and a plain black rear combat notch.
The striker-fired action uses a curved trigger with a safety blade and lightening window, along with a trigger safety. A flared magazine well is installed, and the pistol accepts Glock-pattern double-stack 9mm magazines.
