The DS Warrior LW uses a carbon-fiber-infused polymer grip module with an aluminum subframe to deliver double-stack capacity while keeping weight around 33 oz. The aggressive-texture grip with molded "WARRIOR" panels and an integral flared magwell supports fast, consistent reloads.
The slide is cut for RMR-pattern optics and arrives with a cover plate that integrates a fixed rear sight. A dovetailed front sight with a white dot provides a clear, simple sight picture when running irons. The lowered ejection port supports reliable clearance.
The 5 in barrel uses a traditional 1911 bushing system with a short (GI) guide rod. It is a single-action, hammer-fired platform with a skeletonized, commander-style hammer and a skeletonized 3-window trigger shoe. Safety features include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety plus a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump.
An internal 1911-style extractor and a 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover round out the duty-ready feature set. Overall length is approximately 8.7 in with an approximate 5.5 in height, providing a familiar full-size 1911 footprint.
