The barrel is blued steel, while the receiver is aluminum alloy with a black anodized/enamel-type finish. The rifle has right-side ejection and a right-side rollmark reading "Remington Fieldmaster MODEL 572." A cross-bolt safety with a red band indicator adds clear visual confirmation of the safety status.
The hardwood stock has a straight-comb profile and is matched with a grooved pump/slide fore-end for confident purchase. A checkered metal buttplate with a "Remington" center plug completes the period-correct configuration. Length of pull measures 13.5".
