This Kolar Max Trap Combo is a purpose-built, American-made trap gun with two fitted barrel sets: a 34-inch unsingle with a tall ventilated open-lattice rib and a 32-inch over/under with a ventilated stepped rib. Both barrels are threaded for Kolar extended chokes and feature .740/.740 bores. The right-hand stock is highly configurable with an adjustable comb, a RH palm swell, slight RH cast-off, and toe-out. It comes housed in the Kolar factory hard combo case with a selection of extended chokes and tools.
Condition
Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: The gun is in fantastic shape with mild wear and a couple of scuffs/dings, especially on the left side of the forend. Barrel fit is tight, and the locking lug shows excellent life. Mild pitting is present on the bottom firing pin. The ejectors are timed.

This Max Trap two-barrel combo delivers versatility for trap disciplines. The 34-inch unsingle uses a tall ventilated open-lattice rib for a clear sighting plane, while the 32-inch O/U sports a ventilated stepped rib. Both barrel sets carry white front beads and are chambered for 2-3/4-inch shells, with a factory marking advising use of factory loaded target ammunition only.
The barrels are overbored at .740/.740 and threaded for Kolar extended choke tubes. A comprehensive choke selection is included and covers Light Full, Full, Modified, Light Modified, and Improved Modified, making it easy to tailor patterns to changing target presentations.
The right-hand stock is built for control and comfort, featuring an adjustable comb, a right-hand palm swell, slight right-hand cast-off, and toe-out. High-gloss walnut with sharp checkering and a long beavertail forend provide a secure, consistent hold, complemented by a black recoil pad and a 14.75-inch length of pull.
Mechanical fit and function are strong, with a tight barrel-to-receiver fit, excellent locking lug life, and properly timed ejectors. The single trigger and break-action operation support smooth, consistent shooting across both barrel sets.
Finish and details include blued barrels and a matte-silver receiver highlighted by the Kolar lion crest on the underside. The combo’s assembly numbers are matched across the receiver, barrels, and forend iron, underscoring it as a fitted factory set.
