Chambered in .223 Wylde, this XM15-E2S uses a 16-inch stainless steel barrel marked "WYLDE 1:8 SS USA," combining a versatile chamber with a 1:8 twist for a broad range of bullet weights. The barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-pattern flash suppressor.
The upper is a flat-top A3 with a T-marked Picatinny rail, forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port dust cover. No sights are installed, providing a clean, optics-ready setup out of the box.
A UTG PRO MTU006 free-float quad-rail handguard is installed. It is marked "MTU006," "Patent Pending," and "Made in USA," and provides four Picatinny rails for mounting accessories.
The lower receiver is marked "B.F.I. WINDHAM, ME U.S.A." The receiver set is aluminum alloy with a matte black anodized finish, paired with an A2-pattern polymer pistol grip and a TAPCO T6 6-position collapsible stock for an adjustable length of pull.
Additional details include a direct-impingement operating system, a standard magazine release, manual safety, and a bolt carrier group with a bright silver-colored finish. Two 30-round USGI-pattern aluminum magazines are included.
