This Model 1914 reflects Weimar Republic production with period-correct features and German manufacture by Waffenfabrik Mauser A-G Oberndorf. Its simple blowback, striker-fired, single-action design in .32 ACP combines a compact 3.4 in barrel with an 8+1 capacity, making it a representative example of Mauser’s interwar pocket pistol line.
The pistol retains its blued steel construction and checkered walnut grip panels, complemented by a lanyard ring at the heel and a heel-release magazine catch. Fixed iron sights include a blade front and a rear notch. The slide carries rear serrations, an open-top ejection port, and a cocking indicator.
Mauser’s right-side takedown button and a fixed barrel that rotates approximately 90 degrees for disassembly (using the front-sight lug as the handle) streamline fieldstripping. The under-barrel tube is the recoil-spring housing/cap, not a rotating takedown rod. The design also incorporates an automatic slide hold-open that releases when a loaded magazine is inserted, a practical feature of the Model 1914 pattern.
