The Alien Remus platform uses a gas-delayed blowback system with a fixed 4.0 inch bull barrel, designed to keep the barrel stationary during cycling. The upper sight assembly is non-reciprocating, with the sights mounted to the fixed top for a consistent sight picture during operation.
The Hybrid Inverted Hammer System (internal single-action) pairs with ambidextrous manual safety levers. Additional safeties include a trigger safety, a drop-safety block, an out-of-battery block, and a hammer status indicator.
The frame is aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish and an integral accessory rail on the dustcover. Controls include a left-side magazine release and the Push-To-Rack charging mechanism. A factory flared magwell and textured frontstrap/backstrap support fast, repeatable reloads.
Targeting features include a red fiber-optic front and a serrated rear notch with a vertical red reference line, both mounted on the fixed upper assembly. The trigger is a gold-colored, flat-faced, skeletonized unit with a central safety blade, and the grip panels feature a gray marbled pattern.
Markings include ALIEN REMUS, FIRST EDITION, a 9x19 caliber plate, and the observed edition numbering "500/415" within the USA 500 First Edition run. Import and origin markings read LAUGO ARMS USA LLC DAYTON, NV, MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC, and a proof-style mark "A25." Capacity is up to 17+1, and two magazines (17-round and 15-round) are included.
