The Insurrection is a full-size, Government-length double-stack 1911 chambered in 9mm Luger with a 5-inch barrel and 17+1 capacity. Its frame integrates a full-length 1913 accessory rail and an extended, flared magwell to streamline loading and accessory mounting.
The slide presents a tri-top profile with longitudinal top flutes, diagonal front and rear cocking serrations, and lightening/vent windows near the muzzle. A screw-retained rear plate pairs with a dovetailed front blade, while the barrel is ported and uses a traditional bushing system with a polished chamber hood.
Controls and fire-control parts include a push-button magazine release, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The trigger is a solid, medium-length unit with a vertically serrated face, and the hammer is skeletonized.
Both slide and frame wear a matte silver finish. Wide double-stack grip panels feature 3D machined texture with CG USA shield medallions.
