This 2020 Series Python incorporates Colt’s modernized action with fewer internal parts and strengthened stainless-steel alloys. It is double-action/single-action with a smooth trigger and a wide, serrated hammer spur. The PY-prefix serial range identifies it as part of the current-production series.
The 4.25-inch stainless barrel retains the classic ventilated rib and full-length underlug, with a matte, anti-glare top rib. A shrouded, knurled ejector rod and a 1:14 left-hand twist complete the barrel specification.
Sights are set up for precision: an interchangeable orange-insert ramp front pairs with a black adjustable rear. Factory checkered wood stocks with silver Colt medallions provide a secure, traditional grip.
