The P is a full-size 2011 platform pistol built on a steel frame with a full-length dustcover and a three-slot accessory rail. It uses a modular textured polymer 2011 grip with Staccato star logos and a flared magwell for efficient reloads. Controls include a left-side magazine release, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad.
The 5 inch bull, bushingless barrel pairs with a tri-top slide that has front and rear cocking serrations and six oval lightening ports near the muzzle. Sights are a green fiber-optic front in a dovetail and a plain black fixed rear sight, providing a clean, precise sight picture.
Key markings include "STACCATO," "FLORENCE, TX USA," and "20★11®" on the slide, with the barrel hood marked "9x19." The pistol features an American flag engraving on the right side above the trigger and has matching serial numbers on the frame and barrel.
The single-action, hammer-fired system uses a flat-faced, skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized commander-style rowel hammer.
