The receiver is drilled and tapped and fitted with two-piece Weaver-style bases, and there are no iron sights.
The 22 in sporter-contour barrel is unthreaded, free-floated, and cold hammer-forged, with a matte stainless/silver finish. This setup emphasizes consistent barrel harmonics and durability, with .308 Win chambering suited to a wide range of loads.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with a short 70° lift for smooth cycling and scope clearance. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger allows the user to fine-tune pull weight, and the tang-mounted, two-position safety offers intuitive operation.
