The Staccato (STI) HD P4.5 stands out as a recent, USA-made, full-size 2011 in 9mm with a steel frame, 4.5" non-reciprocating sight-block barrel, and a tri-top slide featuring an optics cut with cover plate. It pairs a Trijicon tritium front sight with a forward-mounted fixed rear sight and includes ambidextrous controls, a Series 80-type firing pin safety, and a flat-faced skeletonized trigger. This example comes with five 18-round steel magazines and a Staccato-branded soft case.
Built on the 2011 platform, this single-action, semi-automatic pistol uses a steel frame and a polymer grip module with coarse texture and a flared magwell. It features ambidextrous slide-stop levers, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and no grip safety with an extended beavertail/tang for a high, consistent purchase. A captured flat-wire recoil spring assembly and external extractor round out the operating system.
The 4.5" steel barrel uses a non-reciprocating sight block that hosts a Trijicon tritium front sight for a steady sight picture. The tri-top slide includes top serrations, front and rear cocking serrations, an optics cut with cover plate, and a fixed rear sight positioned forward of the optic cut.
A full-length 1913 Picatinny accessory rail with four slots is machined into the dustcover for mounting compatible accessories. The pistol is designed for 18+1 capacity and accepts Staccato/2011-pattern steel double-stack magazines.
