The 22 in sporter-profile barrel features the Savage barrel lock-nut system and factory iron sights: a ramped front sight with a brass/gold bead and a folding rear barrel sight. The barrel shank carries "PROOF TESTED CAL. 270 WIN." along with inspector/proof stamps.
The walnut stock has cut checkering for grip, a pistol-grip cap, and white-line spacers. A Pachmayr "WHITE LINE" ventilated recoil pad is installed, setting length of pull at 13.5 inches while adding comfort and control.
This rifle is chambered in .270 Win and uses an internal magazine with a 4+1 capacity. Two-piece windage-adjustable scope bases are already installed, offering a ready foundation for mounting optics if desired.
