The Alaskan configuration pairs a matte stainless barreled action with a Hogue OverMolded synthetic stock. The 20 inch cold hammer-forged stainless barrel is fitted with a ramped front sight with protected blade and a barrel-mounted open rear sight. A barrel-band front sling swivel and rear stud provide ready sling attachment points.
The Hawkeye action uses controlled-round feed with an external full-length claw extractor and a fixed blade ejector. It includes Ruger’s three-position safety and the LC6 trigger. The internal magazine is accessed via a hinged floorplate bearing the Ruger phoenix logo and holds 3 rounds of .375 Ruger.
Integral Ruger scope-mount bases are milled into the stainless receiver, offering a solid, factory interface for Ruger pattern rings. The receiver and barrel share a uniform matte stainless finish for a clean, utilitarian look.
The Hogue OverMolded stock features a textured surface and a Hogue recoil pad, with a 13.75 inch length of pull. This rifle was manufactured in 2012, during the M77 Hawkeye Alaskan period that preceded Ruger’s 2013 transition to the Guide Gun.
