The RAPIDE Scorpius format delivers the classic 5-inch Government profile in 9mm Luger with a match-grade, bushing-style stainless barrel that carries a durable DLC coating and a 1:16 LH twist. The single-action 1911 platform includes a manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, with a factory-rated 12 lb recoil spring tuned for this configuration.
Both frame and slide are stainless steel finished in Black KimPro II with brushed flats that highlight the machining. The slide is extensively lightened with three windows per side and three on top, stepped front and rear cocking serrations, and a lowered and flared ejection port.
Sighting is handled by TruGlo TFX Pro day/night tritium-fiber sights, pairing an orange-ring TFX Pro front with a TG-H3-marked rear. Controls and fire-control parts include a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized aluminum trigger with V-style lightening cuts.
Grip and handling details include black/gray textured G10 panels, checkered front strap and mainspring housing, and a flared magazine well funnel. Capacity is 9+1, and this pistol includes one 9-round magazine. Origin marking on the frame reads "TROY AL USA," and the listed MSRP is $1,729.
