Built in Romania by Nova Modul and import-marked by Chiappa/Charles Daly, the PAK-9 features a stamped AKM-style receiver with AK-pattern controls. Receiver markings include "AK-9," along with caliber and import stamps indicating "9MM LUGER," "CHIAPPA DAYTON, OH," and "MADE IN ROMANIA - NOVA MODUL."
This pistol uses a straight-blowback action chambered in 9mm Luger. It has a 6.3 in barrel, a 14.37 in overall length, and an approximate empty weight of 6.0 lb. The receiver and barrel are steel with a blued finish for a traditional, durable appearance.
