The Legion R2 slide uses the R2/PRO footprint, compatible with the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and SIG ROMEO1PRO. Forward and rear serrations aid manipulation, and Legion branding appears on the slide top and in the chevron medallions set into the black textured G10 grips with relief cuts.
The frame is aluminum alloy with frontstrap checkering, an undercut at the rear of the trigger guard, and a smooth, rounded trigger-guard front with texture on the underside. An integral accessory rail supports weapon-mounted lights. The stainless-steel slide and alloy frame wear the Legion Gray finish for a uniform appearance.
Configured for left-hand shooters, the reversible magazine release is installed on the right side, and an aftermarket right-side thumb shelf provides a stable index for the support-side thumb. The action is DA/SA with a spurred hammer and SIG's decocking lever for safe transition from single-action to double-action.
SIG X-RAY3 day/night tritium sights provide a bright front ring with tritium inserts front and rear. The 4.4 inch barrel and 8+1 capacity maintain the classic P220 .45 ACP format within a full-size, metal-frame Legion package.
The factory case label reflects the correct model and SKU, aligning with the firearm. This is the Legion R2 configuration from SIG's Classic Line, combining a stainless slide over an alloy frame with practical ergonomics and modern sighting and mounting features.
