This Kimber KDS9c Rail is a recent-production, USA-made compact 9mm built on a 1911-style platform with a 4 in stainless barrel and a lightweight 7075 aluminum alloy frame. It comes outfitted with a Gideon Rock red dot installed via the rear-sight dovetail plate, an integral accessory rail, and a total of five magazines. The barrel hood is marked "9MM," and the slide features a tri-top profile with top serrations and an external extractor.

The KDS9c Rail pairs a compact 4 in stainless steel barrel with a black tri-top slide that wears front and rear cocking serrations and top serrations. Lightening cuts at the barrel hood and a deep flush crown are factory features, and the hood is marked "9MM."
Its black 7075 aluminum alloy frame keeps the package compact and includes an integral accessory rail. Gray/black textured G10-style grip panels with a crosshatch motif provide a secure hold. Controls include a skeletonized trigger and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, and this model is built without a grip safety.
A Gideon Rock red dot is installed using a rear-sight dovetail mounting plate. The slide is not a dedicated optic cut. The pistol retains iron sights with a front blade featuring a dot and the rear dovetail occupied by the mounting plate.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the pistol is rated at 18+1 capacity and arrives with three 15-round magazines and two 18-round magazines. The mix of standard-length and extended base pads offers flexibility in carry and reload setup.
