What’s Included
- Browning Gold Sporting Clays 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun
The Sporting Clays configuration of the Browning Gold is designed around a 2 3/4-inch chamber and a 2+1 capacity. As noted by Browning for this model, 3-inch barrels will not fit Sporting Clays receivers, an important detail for parts compatibility and setup.
The 28-inch barrel is ported and back-bored and uses the Invector-Plus choke system. A vent rib and white front bead provide a straightforward sighting setup suited to sporting clays.
The stock is gloss-finished wood with a pistol-grip profile, sharp checkering, and a Browning-branded recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. Controls include a cross-bolt safety and a gold-colored trigger.
Receiver markings include Gold Sporting Clays with Browning wordmark and Buckmark logos. The gun is marked Made in Belgium – Assembled in Portugal with Browning Arms Company Morgan Utah & Montreal P.Q. and Patents Pending. The Gold Sporting Clays is a discontinued model; the Gold line later gave way to the Silver series.
