This Beretta 90-Two Type F in .40 S&W is a full-size, DA/SA pistol with the signature open-top slide, a black Bruniton finish, and an aluminum-alloy frame. It features the wrap-around polymer Unigrip, an integral MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, and an internal recoil-buffer system. Italian proof marks and factory/import markings are present, and it comes with two 12-round magazines and the original blue Beretta case.
Designed as an engineering bridge to the later 92A1/96A1 line, the 90-Two pairs Beretta’s oscillating locking-block system with dovetailed fixed sights and a slide-mounted safety/decocker. The model marking "90two" appears on the grip, along with a lanyard hole and the slide’s factory safety warning text.

The 90-Two Type F uses a DA/SA, short-recoil locking-block action with an external hammer. Its slide-mounted safety doubles as a decocker, and the open-top slide incorporates dovetail-mounted fixed sights, including a white-dot front. The system is engineered around Beretta’s oscillating locking-block for smooth cycling.
The pistol’s aluminum-alloy frame wears a black finish that complements the black Bruniton slide. A 4.9-inch steel barrel and a 12+1 capacity in .40 S&W place it firmly in the full-size category, delivering the dimensions and balance associated with the series.
Ergonomics center on the wrap-around polymer Unigrip with Beretta medallion. The Unigrip is interchangeable and was offered in standard and slim sizes to tailor fit. A lanyard hole at the rear of the grip and the "90two" model marking on the grip are present.
An integral MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail on the dust cover provides mounting capability. Internally, a recoil-buffer system with a captive recoil spring/guide rod is used. The slide bears the factory safety warning "RETRACT SLIDE TO SEE IF LOADED."
Markings include Italian proof marks, "GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY," the Beretta U.S.A. Corp. Accokeek, MD import mark, and "CAT. 15290." This configuration reflects the transitional design that informed the later 92A1/96A1 development.
