The Model 454 Raging Bull is built on stainless steel throughout, finished in matte stainless on the frame and cylinder. Its five-shot cylinder and heavy shroud are designed for the .454 Casull chambering, and the bull-head logo is roll-marked on the barrel shroud.
The 5" barrel is ported and topped with a vented rib. A full-length underlug and heavy shroud add forward weight, and the ejector-rod tip is knurled for positive control. The cylinder has shallow flutes.
Sighting equipment includes an adjustable rear notch and a ramped front blade with a colored insert; the front sight is screw-retained. The action is double-action/single-action with a smooth trigger and a wide, checkered hammer spur.
Ergonomics are anchored by the black rubber finger-groove Raging Bull grip with the signature red cushioning strip and Taurus medallion. Import and origin markings read "TAURUS INT.
