The Smith & Wesson Model 642-2 Airweight is a lightweight J-Frame Centennial revolver built with an aluminum alloy frame and a stainless steel barrel and cylinder. This DAO, enclosed-hammer .38 Special is rated for +P and features fixed sights with a pinned serrated ramp front. It comes with an aftermarket pink rubber finger-groove grip installed, plus useful extras.

Specific Condition Notes: The revolver is in solid shape. There are scratches and blemishes, and finish discoloration is present on the frame. Minor carbon scorching is visible around the forcing cone and on the cylinder face.

The Model 642-2 is a J-Frame Centennial design with an enclosed hammer and double-action-only operation. It holds five rounds of .38 Special and is rated for .38 Special +P ammunition.
Construction pairs a matte silver aluminum alloy frame with a matte stainless steel cylinder and a stainless steel barrel. The 1.88" barrel features a short underlug and a knurled ejector-rod tip.
Sighting is straightforward and durable: a pinned serrated ramp front sight and an integral top-strap gutter rear, both fixed. The revolver also includes Smith & Wesson's internal keyed lock.
An aftermarket pink rubber finger-groove grip that covers the backstrap is installed, providing a secure, hand-filling hold. A spare black rubber grip is included for those who prefer a more traditional look.
