This Thompson/Center Encore Pro Hunter 209X50 Magnum is a .50 caliber, break-open inline muzzleloader built on the Pro Hunter series frame. It features a 28-inch matte-silver fluted heavy barrel with a recessed crown and factory fiber-optic iron sights. The camo thumbhole stock with a Monte Carlo comb, recoil-reduction inserts, and a LimbSaver recoil pad provides a secure, comfortable interface. Made in the United States, this example is in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.

The Encore Pro Hunter platform uses a break-open, single-shot inline design with an exposed hammer, delivering a straightforward operating system in a .50 caliber configuration. Capacity is one round. The receiver is finished in matte silver and marked ENCORE on the right side and PRO HUNTER on the left.
The 28-inch barrel is matte silver with shallow flutes near the muzzle and a recessed/counterbored crown. It is roll-marked ENCORE 209X50 MAGNUM and Thompson/Center Arms, Rochester, New Hampshire, with PROHUNTER engraved at the top near the breech.
Factory sights include a red fiber-optic front post and a fully adjustable rear sight with green fiber-optic inserts on a Thompson/Center-marked base. An under-barrel ramrod is secured by two silver thimbles. The barrel is marked with the safety notice: Black powder or Pyrodex only. Do not use smokeless powder.
The camouflage synthetic thumbhole stock features a Monte Carlo comb, recoil-reduction inserts, a LimbSaver recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. The matching camo forend is synthetic with an overmolded grip panel. Length of pull measures 14.75 inches. The serial number is located on the frame underside behind the trigger guard.
