The TX 22 uses a striker-fired, straight blowback, single-action system. Controls include a left-side magazine release, an ambidextrous manual safety, a trigger safety blade, and a striker block.
Its 4.1 in alloy steel barrel is fixed and crowned. This configuration provides a robust, consistent interface with the slide and muzzle protection from the crown.
The hard-anodized black slide has front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Sights are white-dot with a dovetailed front blade and a fully adjustable, dovetailed rear.
The black polymer frame features molded texturing with the Taurus bull logo. A two-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail is integrated into the dustcover, and a serial number plate is located on the underside of the dustcover.
Capacity is 10+1 rounds of .22 LR, and this pistol includes two 10-round magazines. The package also includes the factory box and manual.
