This Angstadt Arms AA-0940 is a compact 9mm AR-9 pistol built on billet 7075-T6 matched receivers with a straight blowback system. It features a 6 inch barrel with a multi-port muzzle brake, a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail, and a free-float aluminum KeyMod handguard. Dedicated Glock-pattern magazine compatibility and ambidextrous safety levers round out a well-executed micro-format package made in Charlotte, NC.
The slick-side upper deletes the forward assist and ejection port door for a clean profile, while the pistol receiver extension maintains a lightweight, streamlined setup. Factory markings include MODEL: AA-0940 and CALIBER: MULTI with the ANGSTADT ARMS LLC, CHARLOTTE, NC roll mark. This example is in very good overall condition with an excellent bore.

The AA-0940 operates on a proven straight blowback action tailored for the 9mm Luger cartridge. Its 6 inch barrel is fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake/compensator to help manage muzzle rise in a compact format. The barrel is threaded, supporting the installed brake.
Construction centers on matched billet 7075-T6 aluminum receivers finished in black hardcoat anodizing. The lower uses a dedicated Glock-pattern magazine well, and this pistol ships with a 17-round Glock factory double-stack magazine.
The upper is a slick-side design with no forward assist and an open ejection port. A full-length 1913 Picatinny rail bridges the receiver and handguard for mounting sights or accessories. The free-float aluminum handguard uses KeyMod slots with lightening cuts to reduce weight.
Controls follow the AR pattern with a standard bolt catch, standard magazine release, and a standard charging handle. Ambidextrous safety levers are installed for flexible control.
