This Rock Island Armory VR80 stands out with its OD green aluminum receiver, AR-12-style controls, and a feature-rich 19-inch barrel system with interchangeable chokes and a spiral-fluted muzzle shroud. It is a gas-operated, detachable-box-magazine 12 gauge with a 3-inch chamber and adjustable telescoping stock. Manufactured by Derya Arms in Turkey and imported by Armscor Precision International, it includes five magazines and a Picatinny rail atop the receiver for mounting accessories.

The VR80 uses an AR-pattern upper and lower with familiar, intuitive controls. It features an elongated bolt release and an extended paddle-style magazine release for efficient reloads. An ambidextrous manual safety supports right- or left-handed operation.
The 19-inch barrel is threaded and paired with interchangeable screw-in chokes for tuning patterns. A spiral-fluted cylindrical muzzle shroud caps the system, and a muzzle device is installed on the threaded muzzle.
The long, slotted free-float handguard pairs with a top Picatinny rail on the receiver only. The handguard’s 12 o'clock is slotted (no Picatinny rail), and a short accessory rail segment is installed at the 6 o'clock position for lights or other gear.
Furniture includes a telescoping, adjustable stock with an approximate length of pull range from 11 to 14.5 inches, plus a Magpul MOE-style pistol grip. The receiver is aluminum with an OD green finish for a distinctive look.
This shotgun is gas-operated and chambered for 3-inch 12-gauge shells. It is marked VR80 on both sides of the upper receiver, and the bolt is marked BufferBolt System. It was manufactured by Derya Arms in Turkey and imported by Armscor Precision International (APINTL – Pahrump NV). Capacity is 11+1 with the included 11-round magazines.
