The KP345PR variant combines a stainless slide with brushed flats and a matte top over a black polymer frame, and adds a Picatinny-style accessory rail. This full-size P-Series pistol uses a 4.2 in barrel and a 7+1 capacity in .45 ACP.
Its DA/SA, short-recoil, locked-breech action features ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker levers, a loaded-chamber indicator on top of the slide, a magazine disconnect, and an internal keyed lock. The exposed hammer has a checkered spur for positive control.
Fixed sights include a front blade with a white dot and a rear square-notch. The installed Hogue rubber grip sleeve provides a secure, tactile hold on the polymer frame.
A cam-block recoil system is used to help manage felt recoil. The P345 is widely regarded as the final evolution of Ruger’s P-Series and a bridge to the company’s later SR and American lines. This example was made in the USA in 2005.
