The VP9 is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm with a 4.09" steel, non-threaded barrel and a 15+1 capacity. Its black slide carries front and rear serrations, HK's rear charging-support ears, and an external extractor with red index paint at the ejection port.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including slide stops on both sides and a paddle-style magazine release. The trigger uses an integral blade safety, and the pistol includes a loaded chamber indicator.
Sighting is straightforward and fast with fixed 3-dot night sights: a TRU DOT front sight paired with a 2-dot rear. The polymer frame incorporates interchangeable grip side panels and a backstrap for a custom fit.
Proofed in Germany with the 2015 "BF" date code, this example shows matching serial numbers on the barrel, slide, and frame, and is marked with the HKI Columbus, GA importer stamp. The dust cover integrates a 4-slot Picatinny rail for mounting a light or similar accessory.
