The M200 pairs a 4-inch bull barrel with a half-length ejector-rod shroud, giving it a solid muzzle profile and straightforward maintenance. The Parkerized finish is applied to the frame and cylinder for a uniform, matte appearance well-suited to regular use.
Its double-action/single-action system is complemented by a transfer-bar safety and an exposed hammer with a serrated spur. Fixed sights consist of a ramped front and an integral square-notch rear for a clean, snag-resistant sight picture.
