The Generation II Ranch configuration pairs a compact overall length of 37.35 in and a 6.2 lb weight with a three-lug, 70° throw stainless one-piece bolt for fast cycling. Ruger Power Bedding secures the action with an integral bedding block while keeping the cold hammer-forged barrel free-floated.

The synthetic stock features a flat dark earth finish with black splatter and a modular layout. It includes a removable comb insert and spacer-adjustable length of pull from 12.0 to 13.75 in, plus a textured forend, molded grasping grooves, a recoil pad, and sling swivel studs.
Controls include the Ruger Marksman Adjustable, user-adjustable trigger and a tang safety. The barrel and receiver wear a Cobalt Cerakote finish, and a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is included for mounting.
