This Sig Sauer MCX-SPEAR LT in 5.56 NATO pairs a short-stroke gas piston with fully ambidextrous controls and a side-folding, fixed-length stock that can be fired folded. It features a 16 in cold hammer-forged carbon steel barrel with 1:7 twist, 1/2x28 threads, and a SIG 3-prong flash hider, plus a free-float M-LOK handguard and a continuous full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. The rifle wears a coyote anodized finish and comes upgraded with an MDT carbon-fiber bipod installed.

The MCX-SPEAR LT operating system is a short-stroke gas piston with an adjustable gas valve, designed for reliable cycling across conditions. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety, bolt catch/release, and magazine release, and it uses AR-pattern/STANAG magazines. An AR-style rear charging handle maintains familiar manual of arms.
The 16 in cold hammer-forged carbon steel barrel has a 1:7 twist for 5.56 NATO, is threaded 1/2x28, and is fitted with a SIG 3-prong flash hider. This configuration supports common muzzle devices while maintaining a compact profile at the muzzle.
A free-float M-LOK handguard with a continuous full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail provides modern mounting capability. The side-folding stock interfaces on a 1913 rear rail, is fixed length, and can be fired in the folded position. Length of pull is 12.5 in.
The coyote anodized aluminum-alloy receivers and handguard deliver a uniform, durable finish. A flat-blade match trigger, SIG SAUER molded pistol grip, and included MDT carbon-fiber bipod round out a feature-complete, ready-to-configure package made in the USA.
