The VP9 is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm built on a polymer frame with an ergonomic grip system. It includes interchangeable backstraps and side panels, a pronounced palm swell, and thoughtful texturing for confident control. The VP logo is molded into the backstrap base.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, with slide releases on both sides and HK's paddle-style, ambidextrous magazine release. Rear charging supports and front/rear cocking serrations aid in slide manipulation.
The barrel is cold hammer forged with polygonal rifling, designed for durability and consistent performance. The slide wears a nitride finish, and the fixed 3-dot sights use luminescent paint for quick sight acquisition. An integral Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail accommodates compatible lights or lasers.
This pistol bears German CIP N and DE proofs with a BG date code, and the HKI – Columbus GA import mark. The serial number is repeated on the slide, frame, and barrel, consistent with HK manufacturing and import practices.
