Built on PSA’s AR-9 platform, this PX-9 Gen 4 runs a straight blowback system and uses a full-length 16-inch threaded barrel for carbine performance. The slick-side upper deletes the forward assist and ejection-port cover for a clean profile. The aluminum receivers wear a uniform matte black finish and are paired with a manual safety selector.
Notable upgrades are already installed. The SilencerCo ASR three-prong flash hider threads to the barrel and features an ASR-style locking collar. A Daniel Defense collapsible/adjustable stock provides a solid shoulder fit, while the Radian Raptor charging handle offers ambidextrous, positive manipulation. The PSA flat-face trigger delivers a modern, straight-blade feel.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard carries a PSA logo with “USA” and includes a short 12 o’clock Picatinny segment for mounting. A short M-LOK vertical foregrip is attached for added front-end control. The rifle ships without sights, allowing the user to configure sighting equipment as desired.
Factory markings include “PALMETTO STATE ARMORY – WEST COLUMBIA SC,” “MOD PX9,” “CAL 9mm,” and “SAFE/FIRE,” with a PSA crest on the magwell. The bolt is marked “G4-9,” identifying the Gen 4 pattern. It uses a detachable stick-type 9mm magazine interface, and the included Glock factory magazine sets capacity at 33+1.
