The G44 V-series is identified by its "44 V" slide rollmark and a matching V-series case label. Built around Glock's first rimfire platform, the G44 uses a hybrid polymer–steel slide specific to the model. The slide includes front and rear serrations and is the non-MOS configuration. A loaded-chamber viewport is present, and controls include a left-side magazine release and Glock's trigger safety.
The 4.02-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel features hexagonal rifling and a 1:16 twist. Sighting is handled by adjustable polymer sights with a white-dot front and a windage/elevation-adjustable rear, paired with a 6.22-inch sight radius for clear alignment.
The compact, black polymer frame includes an accessory rail for lights or compatible accessories. The pistol is striker-fired and chambered in .22 LR, with a 15+1 capacity using the included 15-round magazine. Two 10-round factory magazines are also included for flexibility where lower capacities are preferred or required.
