    What’s Included
    • Nagoya Arsenal Type 99 Series 0 Short Rifle chambered in 7.7 Japanese

Manufactured at Nagoya Arsenal in the early war years, this Type 99 is a Series 0 Short Rifle with a 25.9 inch barrel and an internal 5-round magazine. The Series 0 identifier appears as a small standalone circle after the serial, a useful detail for collectors tracking production variations.

It is equipped with iron sights featuring a protected front blade and a tangent ladder rear sight with fold-out anti-aircraft wings. The hardwood stock uses the traditional two-piece buttstock construction with a left-side sling swivel, paired with a separate hardwood upper handguard and a smooth steel buttplate. Length of pull measures 12.5 inches.

The receiver is steel and machined with dust-cover rails (dust cover not present). Additional military features include a large knurled safety knob at the bolt rear, a gas-relief hole on the left side of the chamber, a bayonet lug at the nose cap, and a monopod attachment lug at the front band.

Markings include the Japanese 'Type 99' receiver designation, the Nagoya Arsenal symbol, and a defaced imperial crest. Country of origin is Japan, and the rifle dates to the WWII era (1941–1942). The bore is in solid shape with clean, well-defined rifling, supporting its utility at the range.
