The Stoeger Cougar 8000 F is a compact 9mm built around a short-recoil, rotating-barrel system, combining a chrome-lined 3.6 inch barrel with a matte black Bruniton slide and an aluminum-alloy frame. This example offers DA/SA operation with ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, fixed sights, and a 15-round magazine. It is in very good overall condition with an excellent bore.

Built on the Cougar 8000 Series platform, the F submodel features a DA/SA trigger with an exposed spurred hammer and a short-recoil, rotating-barrel locking system. The compact size balances concealability and control while maintaining full-capacity firepower.
The 3.6 inch steel barrel is chrome-lined, and the slide wears a matte black Bruniton finish. An aluminum-alloy frame with a black anodized finish keeps weight down while maintaining durability.
Controls include ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker levers and a standard left-side magazine release. The pistol uses fixed iron sights with a white-dot front blade and a dovetailed rear notch; the rear sight is dovetailed into the slide.
Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and the included steel magazine has witness holes marked 5/10/15. The dust cover has no accessory rail. The pistol will fire without a magazine (no magazine disconnect), as indicated by the slide warning. Markings include "MADE IN TURKEY" and "IMPORTED BY STOEGER INDUSTRIES, INC., ACKK., MD USA."
