    What's Included
    • Colt Single Action Army 1st Generation U.S.-Marked Artillery Model revolver

Built in 1875, this revolver carries a U.S.-marked black-powder frame and the screw-retained cylinder base pin associated with early production. It was subsequently arsenal-altered to the 5.5-inch Artillery configuration during the 1895–1903 rebuild program, aligning it with the standardized service length of that era.

Chambered in .45 Colt with a fluted six-shot steel cylinder, it operates on the classic single-action system and uses a checkered spur hammer. Fixed sights consist of an integral front blade and a top-strap rear groove, and the ejector-rod housing is secured by a front screw.

The barrel shows later-style rollmarks, including "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" and the Hartford address, consistent with components fitted during the rebuild period. The frame bears a U.S. property mark, and the revolver presents in a bright metal finish on both frame and cylinder.

It wears non-factory two-piece white imitation-stag grips. As an antique 1st Generation example with U.S. markings, arsenal Artillery configuration, and a clean, well-defined bore, it offers notable historical appeal.
