    What's Included
    • BSA Sweet 3-10x44 scope with duplex reticle
    • Two-piece scope bases and rings (installed)

This Type 2 BAR is a gas-operated, semi-automatic, right-side-ejecting rifle chambered in .280 Rem. It uses a detachable box magazine retained within a hinged floorplate, with a standard 4+1 capacity for standard calibers. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope bases, with two-piece bases and rings already installed to secure the included optic.

Manufactured in Belgium and assembled in Portugal, this rifle falls within the Type 2 production era (1976–1992) and is date-coded to 1989 (PN). It features a 22-inch barrel configured without iron sights, aligning with Browning’s introduction of factory no-sights barrels starting in 1988.

The rifle wears a polished blued finish over the barrel and receiver, paired with high-gloss walnut furniture. The stock and fore-end show cut checkering, a Browning-branded metal buttplate, and a rear QD sling swivel stud (no front stud present). Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, delivering a traditional full-size fit.

A BSA Sweet 3-10x44 scope with a duplex reticle is installed, providing a versatile magnification range suited to the .280 Rem chambering. The optic is mounted on the included two-piece bases and rings, complementing the receiver’s factory drill-and-tap pattern.
