This DS-D model is a double-stack 1911/2011-style design with a metal frame and a textured polymer grip module bearing the MAC shield logo. It incorporates a flared magazine well for smooth reloads and a lanyard loop at the rear of the frame. The barrel system is a bushingless bull configuration at approximately 4.9 inches, paired with a full-length guide rod and reverse plug. The pistol runs single-action only with a flat-faced, skeletonized trigger, left-side magazine release, and an integral beavertail grip safety and thumb safety.
The slide features front and rear serrations, lightening windows, and top lightening ports. It is optics cut and includes a removable cover plate, offering flexibility in sighting setups while retaining a clean profile when left with irons.
Sighting is fast and clear using a green fiber-optic front and a black serrated square-notch rear. An integral accessory rail with a single cross-slot is machined into the dust cover, and capacity is 17+1 with double-stack steel magazines. Two 17-round magazines are included.
