It also features a fixed tubular stock with an integrated height-adjustable rear monopod. The CQ configuration centers on a 20-inch fluted heavy-profile barrel capped with Barrett's distinctive large rectangular two-chamber muzzle brake to help manage .50 BMG recoil in a compact package. A ventilated handguard with oval ports and a ribbed handhold under the forend aid control and heat dissipation.
A full-length Picatinny top rail provides continuous mounting real estate, while iron sights are present with a flip-up rear unit. The rifle uses a reciprocating, forward-mounted charging handle and a manual safety with SAFE/FIRE selector markings.
The fixed tubular stock incorporates an integrated, height-adjustable rear monopod and a rubber buttpad, complemented by a spigot-mounted perforated-leg bipod up front. Length of pull is 14.5 inches, set for a stable prone or supported shooting position.
Operating via short-recoil, this semi-automatic .50 BMG has a 10+1 capacity and feeds from the included steel detachable box magazine. The rifle carries a uniform matte black/gray metal finish and is made in the United States.
