The Baby Rock BBR Standard CS delivers the familiar 1911 single-action trigger in a compact .380 ACP format. It uses a 3.75 in bushing-style barrel and a 6+1 capacity, pairing manageable recoil with a traditional control layout.
Construction is 4140 ordnance steel with a Parkerized matte black finish on the slide and frame/receiver. The build includes a flat mainspring housing and a smooth front strap, with checkered polymer grips bearing RIA medallions for a secure hold.
Controls and safeties are 1911-standard: a left-side magazine release, a thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety. A skeletonized, lightened trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the fire-control setup.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered ejection port for reliable handling. Sights are low-profile and fixed, with a dovetailed front blade and a drift-adjustable rear notch for fine lateral alignment.
Branding and markings include the Rock Island Armory crest on the slide, with proof/import stamps reading APINTL–PAHRUMP NV and ACP PHILIPPINES.
