Derived from the P90, the PS90 Standard is a semi-automatic bullpup carbine with straight blowback operation that fires from a closed bolt. It maintains a compact footprint with an overall length of about 26.3 in and an unloaded weight of approximately 6.28 lb, aided by a black polymer bullpup stock with a 13.5 in length of pull and a thumb-hole grip. Downward ejection and fully ambidextrous controls make it accessible for right- or left-handed shooters.
The 16 in barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined, with 8-groove rifling and a 1:9 RH twist to suit the 5.7x28mm cartridge. A muzzle device is installed. The result is a durable, easy-handling carbine that balances length and velocity without sacrificing maneuverability.
The PS90 uses a translucent, top-mounted rotary-feed magazine system and has a stated capacity of 30+1. This example includes two factory FN 30-round magazines, offering ready-to-go capacity and the signature clear-sided look that makes round count easy to verify at a glance.
A full-length top Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting surface. The rifle features dual ambidextrous charging handles and a rotary ambidextrous safety. Molded receiver markings include "Fabrique Nationale Herstal BELGIUM" and "FN COLUMBIA SC," matching the known configuration for this model.
