The Custom II is a full-size 1911 with a Government-length, 5-inch bushing-fit barrel, delivering the familiar balance and sight radius enthusiasts expect from this platform. Both the slide and frame are steel with a matte black finish for a clean, uniform look.
The slide is cut with slanted cocking serrations at the front and rear and features a lowered and flared ejection port. Sights are fixed and low-profile, with a fixed post front and a low-profile notch rear for a simple, durable sight picture.
This single-action-only pistol incorporates Kimber's Series II firing pin block, an extended beavertail grip safety with a memory bump, and a left-side manual thumb safety. A skeletonized, three-hole trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer complete the fire-control setup.
Ergonomics include checkered black synthetic double-diamond grip panels, a flat checkered mainspring housing, and a smooth front strap. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP. Overall length is about 8.7 inches, and unloaded weight is approximately 38 oz. The frame (dustcover area) bears the "YONKERS NY USA" manufacturing address rollmark.
