The 6-inch barrel is stainless steel with a full underlug, ventilated rib with rectangular lightening windows, recessed crown, and a shrouded ejector rod. The fluted, swing-out cylinder holds six rounds of .357 Magnum, maintaining the Python's well-known profile in a durable all-stainless configuration.
Colt equips this model with iron sights: a black, square-notch rear that is screw-adjustable and an orange/red ramp front that is user-replaceable, retained by a .050 in Allen screw. This setup provides a clear, serviceable sight picture while allowing front sight swaps to suit preference.
