The Professional-size configuration pairs a 4-inch slide with a full-size Government-length frame, delivering the handling of a compact top end with the grip and capacity of a single-stack 1911. This example uses a traditional bushing barrel and standard recoil spring plug, and it has a non-railed dust cover. Capacity is 8+1 with the included magazine.
Controls and ergonomics are set up for confident manipulation: an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a medium-length 3-hole trigger, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The frontstrap and mainspring housing are checkered, and the magwell is blended and integrated with the mainspring housing.
The slide features rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. Sights are iron: a dovetailed plain front blade paired with a Wilson Combat low-mount, serrated, square-notch rear for a clean, snag-resistant sight picture.
Both the slide and frame wear a matte silver finish. Factory markings include "WILSON COMBAT" on the left side of the slide, "PROFESSIONAL" on the right, and "WILSON COMBAT BERRYVILLE, AR U.S.A." on the frame.
