The LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) trigger system provides a pre-cocked DAO operation with re-strike capability. A bobbed hammer, ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, and the P30's modular grip with interchangeable backstrap and side panels support consistent control and easy user fitment.
The 3.86-inch steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, designed for durability and efficient gas seal. The locked-breech, tilting-barrel action and fiber-reinforced polymer frame keep the package balanced and manageable.
The slide features front and rear serrations and a matte black Hostile Environment nitrocarburized finish. Steel dovetail sights are fitted, with a Trijicon H3 15 rear sight installed; a Heinie HK sight set is included uninstalled to tailor the sight picture to preference.
An integral multi-slot accessory rail on the dustcover supports common lights or lasers. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and this example includes five HK 15-round magazines marked for VP9/P30.
Manufactured in Germany, this pistol bears German eagle/N nitro proof marks, the Ulm proof house antler, "DE" country mark, and the HKI – Columbus GA importer mark. The HK "BD" date code indicates 2013 production.
